On being asked about her relationship with the cricketer, the 'Rakshasudu' heroine stated that they were just good friends and that the rumours were untrue. She further added that such link-ups are common.

Previously, Raashi Khanna was also linked up with the bowler. Refuting the claims, she had stated, "I do not know him personally and I haven't ever met him. I know he is a cricketer, that's it."
