'Airlift' becomes tax free in Bihar

When it comes to Bollywood movies and news then fans all over the world are eager to know what the new update is. So keeping in mind about the crazy fans and their choices, Bihar government has exempted entertainment tax on the movie 'Airlift' for a year. The state cabinet on Tuesday agreed with the proposal to enhance the existing expenditure slab of candidates.

According to sources, the principal secretary cabinet secretariat department Brajesh Mehrotra said, "If any candidate wishes to contest member of the zila parishad will now have to spend the maximum slab of Rs one lakh as against the existing Rs 50 000. Similarly for the gram panchayat Mukhiya - gram kutchery sarpanch will now be able to spend Rs 40,000 as against the existing Rs 20,000." He also added saying, "The state cabinet has also decided to exempt entertainment tax on the Bollywood film 'Airlift' for a period of one year. This film is based on a real story in which 1.70 lakh Indian settled in Kuwait were evacuated during Gulf war in 1990. This movie should be watched by all as it brings a big impact on us Indians."
