Filmmaker Aishwarya Dhanush has recently met Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu who holds multiple portfolios including the Information & Broadcasting ministry when the latter visited Chennai.

The elder daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth is presently making a documentary 'Cinema Veeran' which is about Stunt artists, the unsung heroes of Tamil cinema who often risk their lives in stunt sequences of Tamil films. Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman is rendering the musical score for this documentary while the Superstar will be giving the voice over.

Aishwarya has given a petition to the honourable Minister requesting him to include Stunt Choreographers in the list of National awards. The awards are being given by the Indian Government for films made across India under various categories. While the award is being give for the Best Dance choreography no award has been instituted so far for Stunt Choreography.

We hope Aishwarya Dhanush's request is accepted and the Stunt Choreographers start getting National recognition from this year.
