Iconic actress Kajol is making her comeback with Ajay Devgn-produced film ‘Helicopter Eela’. The power-couple are currently busy in London for the promotions of their film. The makers had revealed the posters from the film bearing the tagline “She’s here, there & everywhere!”
In the posters that were released earlier, the film was all set to hit the screens on September 14, 2018 and now, they have a new release date. The film is slated to release a week earlier. Kajol took to her Instagram and shared a new poster and the new release date. She wrote, “Fooled you... coming on 7th September now #MomsRock.”
Helmed by Pradeep Sarkar, the actress will be essaying the role of a single mother who is an aspiring singer. She is an over-protective mother who leaves all her dreams and joins her son’s college who invades her son's privacy. It is said to be an adaptation of Anand Gandhi’s Gujarati play ‘The Ship Of Theseus’. The film also stars National Award winning actor, Riddhi Sen (who will be playing Kajol’s son), Neha Dhupia and Tota Roy Chowdhary in the lead roles.
