Thala Ajith had scored a huge success this Pongal with the Siva directed family entertainer Viswasam which is one of the biggest hits of the actor's career as well as the biggest hit of the year in Tamil Cinema. The actor is all set to return on screens this week with Ner Konda Paarvai.

Ner Konda Paarvai is the remake of Pink and also stars Shraddha Srinath, Vidya Balan, Abhirami, Andrea Tariang, and will have Ajith playing the role played by Amitabh Bachchan in the original. Directed by H Vinoth, Ner Konda Paarvai is releasing on August 8.

Now the movie is all set to face competition from none other than Thala Ajith's Viswasam pair Nayanthara, as the Lady Superstar's much delayed film Kolaiyuthir Kaalam has now been announced to be releasing worldwide on August 9. The movie had postponed multiple times and now this date has been locked.
