AGS Entertainment is one of the top production houses of Kollywood, known for producing some quality entertainers and superhit movies like Santhosh Subramaniam, Thani Oruvan, Madarasapattinam, Kavan etc.

The production giant had last produced the 2019 Diwali release Bigil starring Vijay and Nayanthara and directed by Atlee. Recently there was a buzz that AGS Entertainment might produce a movie directed by Sudha Kongara and starring Ajith in the lead.

However, Ags entertainment producer Archana Kalpathi has clarified that the company hasn't signed any new project, and has tweeted "We have not signed any projects for 2020. Saw some fake news making the rounds so just wanted to clarify on behalf of @Ags_production".
