Akhil Akkineni is glad that SS Thaman has joined his movie in the direction of Venky Atluri.  For the director, it's his second film with the musician, the first being 'Tholi Prema'.

"Well, these two are my two new buddies. Known them for a while but going to get to know them better I guess now.  We shall do our best.  Here is to new beginnings," the Akkineni hero says, sharing a selfie.

It may be noted that Thaman had composed the song 'Padessave' for Akhil's debut movie.  The Venky Atluri movie will be his first full-fledged project with the much-happening music director.

To be produced by BVSN Prasad, the untitled flick is expected to be a rom-com.  Akhil could announce another project very soon.
