Except for three songs, the shooting of 'Akhil' has been completed. The unit is currently shooting a song on Akhil and Sayesha Saigal in Austria. Two other songs will be shot in Spain and the shooting will be wrapped up.

Producer Nithiin is planning to launch the audio of 20th of September, to coincide with ANR's birth anniversary and the film will be released on October 22. He is very happy with the response to the teaser, released on Nagarjuna's birthday.

Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sapthagiri etc are acting in the film along with foreigners, who are playing villains. Anoop Rubens and Thaman are the music directors. Veligonda Srinivas is the story writer and Kona Venkat penned dialogues.
