Akshay to debut as Hollywood producer

Looks like the bandhan (read relationship) between Akshay Kumar and Canada is getting stronger by the day…

Buzz is that the B-town’s Khiladi is going to co-produce an Indo-Canadian project, ‘Break Away’.

The film will be directed by Robert Lieberman who recently finished the horror flick ‘The Tortured’. ‘Break Away’ will feature Canadian actress Emily Van Camp, of television series ‘Brothers and Sisters’ fame. Nothing is known whether Akshay will star in this one.

His debut western production, ‘Break Away’ will be bannered under Akki’s Hari Om Productions.

Akshay created a fine impression on Canadians after he became brand ambassador of 2010 winter Olympic Games in Canada. We wish his new venture earns him more global recognition.
