In a profession where cat fights, ego clash and cold war are part and parcel of an actress`s life... This piece comes as a pleasant surprise. Alia Bhatt, after Highway`, has gone ahead to sing again in her forthcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania`. And the young bubbly actress has given the credit to Bollywood`s Desi Girl and international singing diva Priyanka Chopra.

In an interview, Alia claimed that Priyanka is her inspiration and like her Alia hopes that she will cut an album someday. "I may not be able to sing a pop song like In My City but could try something softer and personal," admitted the pretty Alia.

Titled Samjhawaan Unplugged`, the track which is quite different from Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghosal`s version of "Main Tennu Samjhawaan" song, is more personal and relatable. In fact, Alia thought singing "Samjhawaan" would be easy, till she knew that she had to render some high notes in a husky tenor.

A little know fact is that Alia loves singing in the shower as well as in the car. But she found recording in a studio is a different game all together.

Incidentally, after "Sooha Sooha", Highway` music composer and music maestro AR Rahman had told her to take singing forward. According to sources, Alia in fact has been planning to train at Rahman's sir school in Chennai but her work schedule doesn't allow the time at the moment.
