There's a hot buzz going around in Tollywood about the casting of Alia Bhatt in the Pan-Indian mega budget Shankar directorial which also casts Ram Charan as the male lead. It is also reportedly said that Ram Charan was super impressed with the worling style of Alia in S.S.Rajamouli's RRR.

Sources also have said that, Shankar always wanted to rope in a Bollywood name to pair opposite the chocolate boy of T'Town and entertain Pan-Indian audiences. The movie is set to be produced by Dil Raju and will start production by the end of 2021. The major delay is due to the dates of Shankar, who still has not completed the filming of the much controversial Indian 2.

After wrapping up the Kamal Hassan starrer, he will focus on this yet-to-be titled film with Ram Charan. Director Shankar is also reportedly busy till the end of 2022 as he is also working on the Hindi adaptation of Tamil Blockbuster "Anniyan" with the ever energetic Ranveer Singh.
