Noted Bollywood playback singer Asha Bhosle has sung a number in Chandramukhi.

When Vidyasagar recorded the song, producer Ram Kumar who was there at the studio was emotionally moved and spontaneously applauded Asha Bhosle's work.

Ram Kumar said, "Asha Bhosle sung a song in a Hindi movie Amardeep, the maiden venture of Sivaji Productions in Bollywood a few decades ago. Now she is singing a number for our Chandramukhi, a movie being made on the golden jubilee year of the production year. What amazes me is her sincerity and dedication, which has not changed a bit. The golden voice is still maintained by her."

Going further, Ram Kumar has planned to release the audio on 5 March in Chennai from the hands of Asha Bhosle herself.
