For years we have been witnessing the cold war between B-Town’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray. But now looks like their differences have been creased.

Very soon Big B will be seen sharing the stage with Raj Thackeray for the anniversary function of Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Sena (MNCS). The veteran actor will be the chief guest at the event, which will also witness the celebration of 100 years of Indian Cinema.

Things went wrong between the two personalities when way back in 2008 Mr.Bachchan became target of Raj Thackeray’s remarks over Marathi versus North Indians issue referring him as "Chora Ganga Kinarewala". Later giving back at him, was Big B’s wife and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan at a public event indirectly mocked the MNS leader and his party by apologising for speaking in Hindi instead of Marathi since she is from UP. Irked by this the party demanded an apology from Bachchan family and threatened that their movies will be boycotted in the state. Eventually, the issue was solved after Big B sent a clarification about his wife’s statement.

As they say, ‘time heals’ - gradually things have smoothened between Mr.Bachchan and Thackeray and now one can look forward to see them eye to eye finally.
