Allu Arjun is now the first actor from the Telugu film industry to win a National Award. He bagged the Best Actor for his Pan-Indian blockbuster 'Pushpa: The Rise', directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film's music composer Devi Sri Prasad bagged the National Award for Best Music Direction in Songs.

The makers celebrated the award wins yesterday and shared the emotional video, which is now viral. Meanwhile, they are currently working on the sequel, 'Pushpa The Rule'. As per the latest reports, the team has completed around 40% of the shooting already. Some important sequences are being filmed in Hyderabad currently. Pushpa 2 is gonna be the biggest film and release in Allu Arjun's career.

We hear that the production house is planning to release Pushpa 2 on March 22, 2024 (Friday) worldwide in Pan-Indian languages. An official announcement about the release date is expected in the coming days. It stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahad Faasil, Sunil, Ajay, Rao Ramesh, Anasuya, and others. The technical team comprises Devi Sri Prasad as the music director, Miroslaw Kuba as the cinematographer and Karthika Srinivas and Ruben serve as the editors.
