Ameer's next with a MGR-Rajini connection

Director Ameer is currently directing and starring alongside Arya and Sathya in Santhana Devan` and is also doing a pivotal role in Vetrimaaran`s Vada Chennai` with Dhanush and Andrea. He has signed on to play the lead role in a new movie directed by Adambava.

The new film has been titled MGR Pandian` as a tribute to the Puratchi Thalaivar and the Superstar whose Pandian` was a super hit when released in 1992. Chandini Tamilarasan plays the female lead while Imman Annachi, Ganja Karuppu and Ponvannan are also part of the cast. Vidyasagar is scoring the music for this film after a long gap.
