Normally audio release functions are associated with grandeur and fanfare. That too when it involves popular stars the celebrations are usually big.

However, director Bala, for his home production Mayavi starring Surya and Jyothika, released the audio cassette without any pomp and gaiety. It was low-key function with no gala celebrations.

Interestingly, Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for the movie and all six songs have reportedly come good.

Devi Sri Prasad is a popular music director in the neighboring Telugu filmdom.
