One of the most expected movies of Kollywood now is Indian 2, directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan in lead role. This movie is the sequel to the 1996 superhit entertainer Indian that had Kamal Haasan in dual roles as father and son, and Indian 2 is produced by Lyca Productions.

After delays, Shankar had started shooting Indian 2 last month and began shooting scenes involving Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth and Priya Bhavani Shankar, and the team had been recently shooting in Chennai's Prasad studio in a specially designed set.

Now the team is shooting in Rajamundhry and Kamal Haasan has joined the shoot. This schedule will happen for 20 days and some important scenes will be shot there. Indian 2 also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Vivek and Bobby Simha and has music by Anirudh.
