Actor Kathir has been known for acting in different movies like Madha Yaanai Koottam, Kirumi, Shatru, Sigai and has also acted in commercially successful movies like Vikram Vedha and was recently seen as Vijay's friend in the Atlee directed Diwali release Bigil.

Kathir had played a football player turned coach in Bigil and now he is set to play a football player again in his next movie Jada which is directed by debutant Kumaran and produced by The Poet Studios. This movie was censored U/A and is set to release on December 6.

It has been revealed that music director Anirudh has sung a song in Jada, which has music by Sam CS, and this first single will be released on November 23. Previously Anirudh has sung in Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum and Vikram Vedha which also had music by Sam CS.
