Title – Anjaniputhra, Producer – MN Kumar, Direction – A Harsha, Music – Ravi Basrur, Cinematography – J Swamy, Cast – Puneeth Rajakumar, Rashmika Mandanna, Ramya Krishna, Vijaya Kashi, Sidlingu Sridhar, Chikkanna, Sadhu Kokila, Giri, Mukesh Tiwari, Ugram Manju, Akhilendra Mishra and others.

It is power star Puneeth Rajakumar power strokes all the way! Compared to his previous films the story line is nothing exceptional but the presentation of the film ‘Anjaniputhra’ playing it to the gallery most of the times director A Harsh has succeeded.

Like ‘Dodmane Hudga’ previous film of Puneeth Rajakumar this one is like an assorted sweet box. The film has flow of sentiment, comedy, tremendous action, romantic songs and of course punching dialogues. Director A Harsha knows what is the demand of Appu – Puneeth Rajakumar fans wants. He has given just that. MNK Movies not fell short in giving all requirements for already familiar story.

He is from the royal family Viraj. In the market place he is money lender as Raj. He is spending jolly days in the working class. One of the incidents – Geetha rejecting the love of Raj perturb the friend who knows the background of Raj royal family.

Before this flashback opening up, we have the villain gang headed by Mukesh Tiwari as Baira looking for life of Superintendent of Police. Raja a powerful man in the area saves the SP in front of a theatre. The hunt begins for Raja and cop admires Raja for saving his life.

In the flashback we know Raja alias Viraaj came out of the huge royal family for no mistake. When Baira and gang threaten the family of Raja – it is start to finish off the gang of Baira. Raja takes on all hurdles on his head and successful wins over but in the meantime his mother faces a brutal attack. Raja hunts for Baira in Jodhpur where he kills over dozen wrongdoer gang headed by Akhilendra Mishra.

It is a Pukka action feast from power star Puneeth Rajakumar to his fans. The power excel continues. The dance, romance and emotions have come in right proportion from Puneeth Rajakumar. Rashmika Mandanna has given a precise performance and not like a regular heroine in this film. She has pretty good scenes in this film which she has performed with prowess.

Ramya Krishna has a very short and sweet role. Sadhu Kokila, Chikkanna, Giri comedy track is filler for relief in the film. Akilendra Mishra has done a good job as villain. Ravishanker transformed to a good cop role has controlled performance.

Ravi Basrur scoring music for the first time to Puneeth Rajakumar film has given peppy and melodious tunes. No complaints on J Swamy cinematography. The dance steps from director Harsha is worth a watch again from Puneeth Rajakumar.

Dialogues by duo Chetan Kumar and Raghu Niduvalli are quite OK. Lyrics in the songs are well written. Editing has followed the usual pattern.

This is a Christmas treat from Power star Puneeth Rajakumar well in advance. A film for the family and focus is also for the family by protagonist in the film.
