Award winning actor Anoop Menon is of the opinion that though one can't say completely if the era of superstars are passe, the young actors of today are hardly concerned about being a superstar. the actor said that now has come an era where the actors are only concerned about making cinema of good quality, rather than go behind star value based stories.

Anoop pointed out that actors like Prithviraj, Dulquer and Nivin are comfortable in their own spaces and that their competition is an healthy one. He said that the actors to take Malayalam cinema through the next 30 years has arrived.
