They are coming in droves. We are talking about Mallu girls who are making a beeline to Tollywood as if there is no tomorrow.

We have girls like Asin, Gopika, Nayantra, Kalyani making strong shows in Telugu. Looks like the exodus to here would not stop. The latest girl to come to town is Sri Devika.

This former beauty queen (she won the Best Kerala Model in 2003) is the heroine of Rajababu. Rajasekhar plays the hero and Muppalaneni Siva directs the flick.

Sri Devika is naturally thrilled and happy to be part of the Telugu film industry.

Though a Mallu girl, Sri Devika has so far acted in more number of Tamil movies than Malayalam ones. She has done 3 in Tamil, one each in Malayalam and Kannada.

For a girl, who has done BA literature ad pursuing MBA, Sri Devika naturally does not find any of the languages difficult. ‘Language is no barrier for me,’ she says with self assurance.

On her character in Rajababu, she says it will be a vibrant role. She knows that it is a remake of the Mallu hit Balletan.

Sri Devika hopes to follow the good work of actress like Asin and Kalyani before her.
