Anupama - From Bangalore, Ahoy!

When Tamil film producers and directors make a beeline to Kerala in search of heroines for their films, director Ram for his Thamizh MA has brought a girl from Bangalore.

The debutante Anupama, is currently pursuing her studies in Bangalore. After a thorough search, Ram managed to zero in on Anupama, and narrated her the story and convinced her to act in Thamizh MA.

Says Anupama, 'I was really shocked when Ram urged me to act in a Tamil movie. I grew up watching Tamil movies and liked the colorful movies being churned out here. My maiden venture Thamizh MA is a serious venture and my role is also very heavy. However that doesn't mean that I shy away from glamour roles. If given opportunities, I can play bubbly roles.'

Anupama is learning Tamil and promises to dub her own voice after her debut venture. 'I am a fan of Jeeva and thrilled to act opposite in Thamizh MA', she adds.
