'Raraju' title confirmed for Gopichand's film

'Raraju' is the title confirmed for the film being directed by Uday Shankar of 'Kalisundam… Raa'-fame and produced by GVG Raju of ' Godavari'-fame on the banner of SSC Arts with Gopichand, Meera Jasmine and Ankitha in the lead.

Producer GVG Raju says, 'Our film had completed the shooting part. Post-production works are going on at a brisk pace. We are planning to release the audio of the film before September 15 as a Diwali gift and Mani Sharma gave melodious tunes to all the five songs and we choreographed them richly in Vizag, Pollachi, Bangkok and Thailand. After a delightful film like 'Godavari', we are bringing out a musical entertainer like 'Raraju' and we are sure that this film will also be a big hit.'

Director Uday Shankar says, 'Our film had a strong subject. There are four action episodes and fight master Vijay composed them excellently. We made the film keeping all classes of audience in view. The film will have all kinds of elements including love, sentiment and action, besides a good family subject.'

Sivaji could be seen in a special role in this film, while Chandramohan, Jayaprakash Reddy, Asish Vidyarthi, Venumadhav, MS Narayana and other are in the cast. Dialogues are by Chintapalli Ramana, while story, screenplay and direction are by Udayshankar.
