April end is going to be the blockbuster weekend for the digital platforms. The OTTs are all set to welcome May with big releases for the watchers. Around 17 new films and series are landing on streaming platforms this weekend. Here's all you want to know about the new releases:

1) Pathu Thala (Tamil) - Simbu and Gautham Karthik's gangster thriller directed by Obeli N Krishna with music by AR Rahman. It is set to premiere on Amazon Prime on April 27.

2) Dasara (Telugu) - Nani and Keerthy Suresh starrer action thriller which has music by Santhosh Narayanan. The film debuts on Netflix on April 27.

3) Thuramukham (Malayalam) - Nivin Pauly's long-delayed crime thriller coming to SonyLIV on April 28 post its theatrical release.

4) Citadel (English) - 'Game of Thrones' fame Richard Madden and Priyanka Jonas Chopra's sci-fi action thriller created by the 'Avengers' makers Russo brothers. The Amazon original series releases on April 28.

5) Scream VI (English) - The sixth instalment of the renowned slasher thriller franchise 'Scream' debuts on Book My Show Stream on April 28.

6) U Turn (Hindi) - It is the official Hindi remake of the Kannada thriller of the same name. The film premieres on ZEE5 on April 28.

7) Ved (Marathi/Hindi) - This is the official remake of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha's Telugu movie, 'Majili'. Veteran South actress Genelia D'Souza reprises Samantha's role from the original. The movie releases on Disney Plus Hotstar on April 28.

8) Burial (English) - This is a war-thriller slated to be released in Book My Show on April 28.

9) Gurudev Hoysala (Kannada) - Dhananjaya starrer action thriller will debut on Amazon Prime Video on April 27.

10) Antharam (Malayalam) - This award-winning film chose to skip theatres and stream directly on the Koode app on April 24.

11) Peter Pan and Wendy (English) - A fantasy adventure slated to make its digital debut on Disney Plus Hotstar on April 28.

12) Vyavastha (Telugu) - This social drama comes to ZEE5 on April 28.

13) Odela Railway Station (Telugu) - This crime thriller will stream on Aha on 28th April.

14) Save The Tigers (Telugu) - A comedy thriller set to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on April 27.

15) Before Life After Death (Hindi) - Emotional drama releases on Netflix on April 28.

16) The Matchmaker (Arabic) - Mystery thriller set to debut on Netflix on April 27.

17) AKA (French) - Netflix's original action thriller movie comes to the platform on April 28.
