Isai Puyal AR Rahman's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' lands on the big screens today and he also has 'Ayalaan' this year. He is very much active on social media these days. Now, he has given a cool reply to the veteran actress who tried to taunt his wife and it is going viral among fans.

Recently, AR Rahman took part in an award ceremony along with his wife Saira Banu. When the host asked a question to ARR's wife at the event, she tried to answer in Hindi. Then, AR Rahman asked his wife to talk in Tamil, to which his wife said that she doesn't talk Tamil fluently and continued in English.

Following this incident, veteran actress Kasthuri took to her Twitter page and wrote, "AR Rahman's wife does not speak Tamil? What is their mother tongue? How do they converse at home?" Replying to the controversial tweet, AR Rahman penned his reply in simple and kind words, "Respect for love" (sic). This tweet is going viral now.
