Rahman gets an important post from the Chief Minister

Academy award winner A.R.Rahman has been named as the Brand Ambassador of Sikkim. This is yet another honour for the Isaipuyal who has won many international and pan-Indian awards and recognition. 

On Monday, Pawan Chamling, the Chief Minister of Sikkim announced Rahman as the Brand Ambassador of the north eastern state, during the inauguration of the State Red Panda Winter Carnival and the capital city Gangtok. 

Rahman who on his maiden visit to Sikkim, took part in the inaugural event along with the CM and lit the inaugural lamp. CM Chamling presented a handwoven carpet to him. 

Sikkim one of the most popular tourist destinations of India.
