Arjun dons the khaki uniform again for Marudhamalai. Known for his passion to play the role of honest cop, Arjun plays a strict police officer, who cracks down the criminals in Marudhamalai.

According to director Suraj, "After Thalainagaram, I conceived the storyline for Marudhamalai. When I completed the script, I felt no one other than Arjun would fit the role."

On the movie, he says, "It is a mix of humor and action. Arjun and Vadivelu would tickle the funny bone in you in the first half. Towards the second half, Arjun settles down for action."

Nila plays Arjun's lover and there are enough romantic sequences too.

Produced by Oscar Ravichandran, plans are on to release Marudhamalai very soon.
