Arvind Swamy-Amala Paul starrer 'Bhaskar Oru Rascal' which was supposed to hit the screens today has been postponed at the last minute. After many promotions announcing the release date as May 11, the film has been postponed

'Nadigaiyar Thilagam', 'Irumbu Thirai' and 'Iravukku Aayiram Kangal' are the other three films that are releasing today. 'Bhaskar Oru Rascal' might have been postponed due to non-availability of adequate number of theaters. However the makers are yet to announce the reason for the postponement of the film's release. The alternative release date is also yet to be announced. 

Audience who have booked the tickets for today's shows of 'Bhaskar The Rascal' have received messages from the theaters that the shows have been cancelled and the ticket money will be returned in a few days. 

'Bhaskar Oru Rascal' is the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit 'Bhaskar The Rascal' starring Mammootty and Nayanthara. Both Malayalam and Tamil versions have been directed by Siddique.
