Arya's much-awaited flick Sarpatta Parambarai is all set to be a direct OTT release. It is a sports drama directed by Pa Ranjith. The release of this film was expected much earlier but now the official announcement on the release has arrived.

Just like most other films, it will be premiered directly on Amazon and the team has locked July 22 as the release date. Making it official director Pa. Ranjith wrote, "For an individual as well as for a society, there is a gulf between merely living and living worthily-Babasaheb. The victory of an Individual is a victory to the entire society. The film is expected to be a full-fledged action movie that traces the boxing culture that prevailed in North Madras. Arya's body transformation in the first look poster hyped up the expectations over this film. Dushara Vijayan plays the lead lady in this film.

The film also stars Kalaiyarasan, Sanchana Natarajan in lead roles besides Pasupathi, John Vijay, Santhosh Prathap, Anupama Kumar, Kaali Venkat, John Kokken in supporting roles and has music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan.
