Ayudham
Ayudham has Prashanth opposite Sneha. It is a campus love-story being directed by Murugesh, whose debut venture Indrumudhal failed at the box-office. Both Prashanth and Sneha play the role of medical students. Interestingly, Sneha is also donning the role of a doctor in Vasool Raja MBBS too.
The movie is being produced by C TV Productions. Meanwhile, Prashanth is awaiting the release of his next movie Shock which is being directed and produced by his father Thiyagarajan. It's a horror movie , which is a remake of Hindi hit Bhoot.
Ayudham is sure to appease youngsters, says Prashanth. Vadivelu, Janakaraj, Mansoor Alikan, Manobala, Besant Ravi, Rajesh, Ajay Rathnam, Raman Ayyar and Kalairani, are also in the cast.
A Mumbai girl Rasna is being introduced in the movie. Music is being scored by Dhina, while lyrics are by Snehan, Pa Vijay and Viveka. Tharunkumar, Brinda and Dinesh are handling the choreography.
A major portion of the film was shot at Chennai Trade Center at Nandambakkam near Chennai.
