Bettada Daari on water scarcity in north Karnataka

Here is a children film that focuses attention on the water scarcity faced by the people of Northern Karnataka region. A group of children come with distinct idea to solve the water crisis in this film says director Ma Chandru addressing the media after launch of the film at Kanteerava studio in Bengaluru on Monday morning.

Ma Chandru has written story, screenplay and dialogues. A workshop for the children was conducted before the shooting. This would help in quick shooting and children have grasping power. The film ‘Bettada Daari’ has the forgotten desi games like ‘buguri, Kunte Bille, Chinni Dandu’ etc.

Heeralal Movies is producing this film. Chandrakala TR and Manjunath H Naik are joint producers of this film. Smt Chandrakala explaining reasons for the loss of her first film ‘Mook Hakki’ says she will take adequate measures to keep the film in the minds of people.

Nandakumar cinematography, Arjun (kitty) editing, Dr V Nagendra Prasad, K Kalyan and Vijaya Baramasagara lyrics, Kambiraj and Murali dance are part of technical team. Veer Samarth has scored music for four songs of this film.

Master Nishanth T Rathod, Master Anikith Navanidi, Lakshmisri, Master Rangaswamy, Master Rohith Gowda, Master Vignesh, Baby Manyatha M Nayak, Ramesh Bhat, Bank Janardhan, Umeshanna, Mysuru Mallesh, Nishith Raghavendra, R Nagesh, Auto Nagaraj and others are in the cast.
