One of the stalwart directors of Kannada cinema SK Bhagwan of ‘Dorai Bhagwan’ duo is back in action after 22 years to direction. The Dorai Bhagwan duo directed 36 Kannada films starring Dr Rajakumar in which 24 are novel adaptations.

At 85 years today SK Bhagwan is taking up a direction with the same energy and zeal. It is ‘Aduva Gombe’ starring Ananthnag in lead role. It was in 1995 he directed ‘Balondu Chadurganga’. Stopped direction but bouncing back for a meaningful film.

Principal of Adarsha Film Institute for a long time Bhagwan says he is ready with neat content and approach to suit the present generation. I have come to know about the present trend and having modern approach in this entertainer ‘Aduga Gombe’ he says.

For ‘Aduva Gombe’ he is using one of the lines of ‘Kasthuri Nivasa’ one of his directorial venture song line for this film.

The theory of man proposes and god disposes is highlight of this film. Ananthnag heading the cast, Sanchari Vijay, Nirusha, Rishita and Seema Gowda, Sudha Belawadi and others are in the cast. I am completing the film in a very small budget.

The film ‘Aduva Gombe’ went on the floors on November 2 and by December 5 it will complete shoot. Censoring the film before 31 December, the release will be for Pongal next.
