Kavin the breakout star of 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan was offered many films post the reality show but he chose only a few. One of the films that Kavin completed is the romantic thriller 'Lift' directed by Vineet Varaprasad in which he is paired opposite Amrutha Aiyer.

'Lift' theatrical rights were bagged by Libra Productions in April but the Ega Productions the producers of the film released a statement that the agreement is now void. Libra Ravindran Chandrasekharan has taken to social media and has written "Lift theatrical rights remains only with libra. We will hit theatres in October. The movie is meant for theatres and i will stand by that.

Further in his statement, he has written in Tamil that in April when the agreement between him and the 'Lift' producer was made it was agreed that 50 percent of the money will be paid in advance and the rest before the release of the film. Hence he retains the rights and will go ahead and release the film as planned next month.

Kavin meanwhile has also focussed on his behind the camera passion and worked as AD in Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor'. He is once again assisting director Nelson Dilipkumar in Thalapathy Vijay's mega flick 'Beast' produced by Sun Pictures.
