Thamarai Selvi, a state performer in her hometown became world famous by participating as a contestant on 'Big Boss Season 5' hosted by Kamal Haasan. No one gave her much of a chance to survive on the show but she defied all odds to stay strong in the house for 98 days before getting evicted.

Thamarai is currently taking part in the 'Big Boss Ultimate' OTT version too which is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar on a 24/7 basis. Needless to add that she has been having fun since day one.

Thamarai has shared on 'Bigg Boss Ultimate' that her household is lacking many modern utilities and thats why she jumped with joy when she won a gas stove on one of the tasks of 'Bigg Boss 5'.

The talented artiste has added that post the show Varun made it a point to buy and gift her the appliances she needed at her home. She said the young actor bought her a double door fridge and an oven for which she is very thankful to him.
