Actress Indhuja had made her debut in Karthik Subbaraj's production Meyadha Maan directed by Rathna Kumar, and went on to act in movies like RK Suresh starrer Billa Pandi, Arya starrer Magamuni and also made her web series debut with Prasanna starrer Thiravam.

Indhuja shot to fame playing a key role in the 2019 movie Bigil directed by Atlee and starring Vijay in the lead, and the actress played a player in the football team trained by Vijay. Her character Vembu which is always conflicting with Vijay's character won her good response from audience.
