Indraja Shankar the daughter of popular comedian Robo Shankar was well appreciated in her debut movie 'Bigil' in which she played a female footballer.  Her interactions with Thalapathy Vijay has also won the hearts of millions of his fans.

Indraja has posted a highly emotional message to her maternal grandmother who has apparently passed away.  In Tamil she has written on her social media page "Happy birthday grandma..Always it has been me who has surprised you but this time you gave me the shock by not being here for me to wish.  I love you so much ammamma"
