Blue Sattai Maaran has a huge fan following due to his no holds barred criticism of every film that hits the screens especially ones that have big heroes and swollen budgets. He has been threatening for several years that he would turn director and make a movie that will have all the right ingredients in it and get five out of five stars rating. The time has actually come for Maaran to prove his claims as his movie pooja was just conducted today and the shoot begins on September 14th.

The most interesting aspect of this untitled film is that Suresh Kamachi is bankrolling under his banner V Studios. It may be recalled that Kamachi started 'Maanadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and starring Simbu which got dropped due to the non-cooperation of the hero.

Now the producer has given priority to Maaran's film in place of Simbu's. "Intha katha rasigargala kavarathukku evalavu podhumanadha irukkum....enna senji vachirukangannu paappom".
