Bodyguard to release for Sankranthi

In what may be called a surprise of sorts for the rest of us, the producers of Bodyguard have announced the release date of the film to be January 12. All along, it was expected to hit the screens sometime in November.

Although the film has just a song to shoot, Bellamkonda Suresh and Ganesh Babu have come up with this new date. Suresh says that the film has come out really well and will be one of the biggest hits in Venkatesh’s career. Thaman has delivered extraordinary music, he says. The audio will be released in the month of December.

Starring Trisha and Saloni, the film has Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ali, Subbu Raju, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Pragathi and others in key roles.

Photography is by Shyam K Naidu; Fights are by Ram-Lakshman; Editing is by Gautham Raju; Dance choreography is by Raju Sundaram. Director Gopichand Malineni has written the screenplay as well.
