'Badlapur' has offered him the chance to experiment with the genre which he enjoys watching. Director Sriram Raghavan is a genius who keeps looking to push the envelope and do something new. 'Badlapur' was a gamble that has beautifully paid off for Varun.
Salman Khan - The superstar has played a charming, irreverent superhero in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Though it was difficult for him to play the character after 'Dabangg', 'Wanted' and other films. Though there is action and everything but it is a simple and all-heart film. Salman`s character is close to how he lives his own life in principle. When you portray on the big screen what you do off screen, then it is bound to affect and connect with the audience this is exactly what happened and it had a great run at the box office.
Kangana Ranaut - 'Tanu weds Manu Returns' was the best film for Kangana as she got to experiment by getting out of her Comfort Zone by playing two characters. Though Initially she had huge difficulty in maintaining both the characters because Kusum was adorable and a lovely girl and there is purity in her, while Tanu has a wildness but she is selfish. This film has kind of made her the Female Khan of Bollywood.
