1. Yuva : Producer: Madras Talkies; Director: Mani Ratnam;
Music: A.R .Rahman ; Lyrics: Mehboob;
Cast: Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi, Abhishek Bachchan, Esha Deol, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee, Sonu Sood

Premiered at the IIFA Awards in Singapore, this multi-starrer lacks Mani's touch despite good performances, particularly by Abhishek and Rani. Michael and Arjun are college students. Michael, who loves Radhika, gives up the chance of going to the United States to enter student politics. Arjun is easy going and loves Mira. Lallan is a ruffian working for a corrupt politician. But he loves his wife Sashi. The three young men meet accidentally and their lives mingle, transforming them.

2. Main Hoon Na : Producer; Gauri Khan; Director: Farah Khan;
Music: Anu Malik; Lyrics: Javed Akhtar;
Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Sunil Shetty, Sushmita Sen, Zayed Khan, Amrita Rao, Bindu, Naseeruddin Shah

Farah Khan's debut as director has all the ingredients of a commercial film. Shah Rukh Khan dominates but Suneil, Zayed and Amrita Rao are very good and Sushmita looks alluring. To fulfill the twin purposes of re-uniting his separated family and saving Mission Milaap, an ambitious project of the General towards Indo-Pak friendship.

3. Hum Tum : Producer:Yash Raj Films ; Director: Kunal Kohli;
Music:Jatin-Lalit ; Lyrics: ; Javed Akhtar;
Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Abhishek Bachchan, Kiron Kher, Rishi Kapoor, Jimmy Shergill, Isha Koppikar.

Saif is the backbone of the entertainer, playing the cool dude with confidence. Karan, a cartoonist working with 'The Times of India,' never seems to hit it off with Rhea - in their meetings in India, America, or France - though they initially become friends when he shows her the albums of his male and female cartoon characters Hum and Tum.

4. Aan - Men At Work: Producer: Firoz Nadiadwala; Director: Madhur Bhandarkar;
Music: Anu Malik;
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Shatrughan Sinha, Raveena Tandon, Preeti Jhangiani, Lara Dutta, Jackie Shroff, Irrfan Khan, Vijay Raaz, Rahul Dev.

An action film with Akshay and Suniel at their best in stunts devised by Abbas Ali Moghul, it depicts the hard life of the policemen, and the nexus between the underworld and politicians. Deputy Commissioner of Police Hari Om Patnaik is transferred from Pune to Mumbai where the policemen are highly disillusioned as the corrupt Home Minister Manik Rao rules the city. Senior Inspector Vikram Singh is disgruntled, while Inspector Appa Kadam Naik thinks the only way out is to eliminate criminals.

5. Masti : Direction: Indra Kumar;
Music: Anand Raj Anand;
Cast: Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Amrita Rao, Genelia D'Souza

This comedy has jokes that may shock many as they are risqué. But it begins as a film about extramarital affairs but becomes a murder mystery just like 'Hawas' and 'Murder' in the last two weeks. Meet, Amar and Prem are college friends. Meet is a playboy, Prem is desperate to lose his virginity, and Amar is generally scared.

6. Murder : Producer: Mukesh Bhatt; Director: Anuraag Basu;
Music: Anu Malik; Lyrics: Sayeed Quadri, Rahat Indori
Cast: Mallika Sherawat, Ehsaan Hashmi, Ashmit Patel, Raj Zutshi, Sheeba Chaddha, Shabnam, Uday Tikekar, Krish Chawla,

With a story like ?Hawas? as it is also based on Adrian Lyne?s ?Unfaithful?, this film is better made primarily because of Mallika who manages to get deep into the character of an adulterous wife and brings it to life. Simran, bored because her husband Sudhir is too busy in his business in Bangkok, meets and has an affair with former lover Sunny whom she had to leave when she was forced to marry her brother-in-law for the sake of her sister's child. Sudhir hires a detective and is shaken by the truth. But Sunny is found murdered.

7. Uuf Kya Jadoo Mohabbathai...!: Producer: Rajshri Pictures; Director: Manoj J Bhatia;
Music: Sandesh Shandilya; Lyrics: Mehboob;
Cast: (introducing) Pooja Kanwal, with Samir Dattani, Sachin Khedekar, Sandhya Mridul, Akshay Anand, Mini, Aziz,

Uuf Kya Jaadoo Mohabbat Hai...takes us back to the arcadian innocence of puppy love in Raj Kapoor's Bobby where young people just wanna have fun, and the birds and the bees can go fly a kite.

8. Lakeer - Forbidden Lines : Producer-Writer-Director: Ahmed Khan;
Music: A.R. Rahman;
Cast: Sunny Deol, Sohail Khan, Suneil Shetty, John Abraham, Nauheed Cyrusi, Apoorva Agnihotri

Mother India lives! And never mind if she's converted into "Brother India" and played by Sunny Deol instead of Nargis - may God rest her soul and the audience, if they survive the ordeal of watching the antiquated mafia romance.

9. Munnabhai MBBS: Producer:Vidhu Vinod Chopra; Director: Rajkumar Hirani;
Music:Anu Malik;
Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Dutt, Gracy Singh, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Rohini Hattangady, Jimmy Shergill

But his parents who think he is a doctor running a charity hospital come from the village to meet him and he is exposed, thanks to Dr Asthana who had wanted his daughter Suman to marry Munnabhai. Munna now decides he must become a doctor.
