EMMY Award nominated famous American television series, 'Born To Explore', of ABC-TV has set its eyes on 'Kalyana Samayal Sadham'. The film is produced by Ananth Govindan and Arun Vaidyanathan of 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' fame. The film stars Prasanna, Lekha Washington, Delhi Ganesh, Uma Padmanabhan and Geeta Ravishankar, among others, while RS Prasanna wields the megaphone. Richard Wiese of 'Born To Explore' wanted to cover the big fat Indian weddings, while a programme on India, and hence, he has approached the KSS team, which was only too happy to give the foreign nation a sneak peek into our variety.

"From 'Slumdog Millionaire' to 'Life of Pi', there is something about Indians and the country that readily appeals to the globe. I presume this is due to the splash of colours that imparts richness. But what impacts deeper is that one can be happy and contented, even in a slum, as portrayed in Danny Boyle's film. The 'Born to Explore' team loved the one-minute footage of the film that we showed them, and are all praise for the movie. The programme will reach roughly about 1.4 million Americans, who are awaiting the release of KSS" says Prasanna. The show is expected to be aired in April 2013. It is worth mentioning that most part of this episode of 'Born to Explore' covers portions of the film, in lieu of Indian weddings. Also, the programme will air in National Geographic Channel, apart from ABC-TV.
