Bunny, the man who trusted me: Vakkantham Vamsi

Speaking at the audio function of 'Naa Peru Surya', Vakkantham Vamsi was all praise for Military Madhavaram, the village in which the event was held.  "If there are chaos outside, we don't send our children out.  But parents in this village have always sent their children to serve in the Army," the director said.

Vamsi said that, in the course of making 'NPS', he had met several soldiers and their families.  "We learned so many things.  It has been an emotional journey.  We hope the film will definitely entertain one and all.  Before debuting as a director with this film, I had written several entertainers.  Direction has been my dream of 3.5 years.  It's because of my producers, presenter Naga Babu garu and co-producer Bunny Vas garu that I could complete this film without hiccups," Vamsi said.

He was all praise for music directors Vishal-Shekar duo.  "The didn't deem 'NPS' as a Telugu film but as a national project," he added.

About his hero Allu Arjun, Vamsi said, "No matter how much I talk about Bunny, it won't suffice.  He is the man who has helped materialize my dream of 3.5 years.  We have traveled together for 130 days.  He trusted not just the writer in me but also the director in me.  He listened to the story without keeping business potentiality in the mind.  He was the same with me as he would be with an experienced director.  After this movie, Surya's character will remain in your hearts for the next 10 years.  He will make you cry, he will make you laugh.  He will agitate you.  He will be there in your hearts for the rest of your life.  You will walk out of the theatre with nice memories."
