Having left Saathiya behind, director Shaad Ali is heavily into the his next film titled Yash Raj Films 'Bunty Aur Bubli', produced by Aditya Chopra.
This Bonny & Clyde styled caper will star Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji as two strangers on the run in the dusty backwaters of Uttar Pradesh.
And guess who's been signed to play the cop assigned to hunt down the two desperados? The Big B himself!
Abhishek and Rani play Bunty and Babli in the film respectively who are a burglar duo and together they make their robbing plans successful.
Bunty aur Babli features the father-son duo of Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan coming together for an item number with the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai for the film. The Yash Raj banner has added to the visual appeal factor of the film by adding a firang face in the cast.
And NO, she is not roped in for an item number over here. She plays a foreigner called Kate in the film and her character is an integral part of the script
With lyrics by the inimitable Gulzar, the music of Bunty aur Babli given by the energetic trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has a Cool Desi Flavour to it. The album has six pulsating tracks including one rap number.
