Can Mahanati beat Mahesh Babus record?

By grossing USD 2.5 million, 'Mahanati' has stormed into the Top Six slot of Top Tollywood Grossers in the US. It recently pipped Trivikram Srinivas's 'A Aa' and Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No. 150' and is now trailing Mahesh Babu's 'Srimanthudu' (USD 2.89 million).

The question is, will the Keerthy Suresh-Nag Ashwin movie trump even the Koratala Siva blockbuster? As things stand, it may find it less than easy to do so. Even if it doesn't, the Savitri biopic will have been one of the greatest performers in the US ever.

'Baahubali-The Conclusion', 'Baahubali-The Beginning', 'Rangasthalam', 'Bharat Ane Nenu', and 'Srimanthudu' are the top five performers as of today.
