Celebs mourn the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the man of many dreams

The death of Sushant Singh Rajput has come as a shocker.  The 34-year-old Bollywood star, who committed suicide on Sunday, has left a void.  His demise has shattered many.  Condolences are pouring in from celebs and lakhs of Netizens, who are speechless!

Union Minister Smriti Irani wrote, "I have no words, no understanding of why you left the way you did. From a bright young kid who came to Balaji to a star who made the Nation swoon.. you had come a long way and had many more miles to go. You will be missed #SushantSinghRajput gone too soon."

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar said, "Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless...I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in 'Chhichhore' and telling my friend Sajid, its producer, how much I had enjoyed the film and wish I had been a part of it. Such a talented actor...may God give strength to his family."

Former cricketer Virender Sehwag wrote, "Life is fragile and we don’t know what one is going through. Be kind. #SushantSinghRajput Om Shanti."

Former actress and present politician Urmila Matondkar said, "Extremely shocked and deeply saddened to hear about #SushantSinghRajput.  How tragic!"

Badminton player Saina Nehwal tweeted, "Gone way too soon. It's shocking and even more sad to lose such a young talented actor and a human. You will be missed on screen Dhoni."

In his last film 'Chhichhore', Sushant's character counsels a kid not to lose heart.  Ironically, the actor himself committed suicide for want of wise counsel.  Somesh Upadhyay, IAS officer, wrote, "As Anni, you counselled the kid who didn't have the will to live after failing IIT and inspired him to become a fighter. Why did you not reach out to Anni when you needed him the most."

Actor and filmmaker Koena Mitra tweeted, "You can never know what others are going through. Their struggles, their pain, their desires. Kindly stop mocking, bullying, and stop imposing your ways on everyone.  Kindly be kind to all.  Gone too soon. Om Shanti.  #SushantSinghRajput."

Film critic Bharadwaj Rangan, plugging an article, quoted Sushant's dreams, which sadly will remain unfulfilled.  ""Build the biggest library in India", "Send 100 kids to NASA’s workshop", "Dance with Madhuri Dixit", "Own a part of the moon". These were just some dreams #SushantSinghRajput listed a year or so ago. How quickly dreams turn to dust! So, so sad!" Rangan tweeted.

Sonu Sood, Bipasha Basu, Neha Dhupia and others also mourned the tragedy.

Kajal Aggarwal: SHOCKING and deeply disturbing. Heartfelt Condolences to Sushants family and friends. Hope he finds peace on the other side.

Dulquer Salman: Absolutely heartbroken by this news. Not someone I met or knew personally but this really hits you in the gut. So talented and so young. RIP #SushantSinghRajput.
