Shekar Kammula's film Leader has courted yet another controversy. The Censor Board has repeatedly asked the producers to delete the voice overs of real-life policians speaking in the State Assembly.

The film being a political-caper, it is obvious that Kammula would be making references to real-life politics in his movie.

But none imagined that he was using the voices of MLAs in it. We do not know whether it is allowed as per the rules of Assembly, though voices in speeches outside the Assembly will not create a problem to the makers.

As the assemblies and the Parliament have their own set of rules, seems that AVM Productions will have to get permission from higher levels. The last time, Leader had to fight a controversy when a petitioner at the Film Chambers claimed that the title was already registered.

Following a directive by the Chamber, the makers changed it to AVM vari Leader. Let us see what adjustments the makers are going to make this time around.
