It is very surprising the famous comedy actor Komalkumar film `Chamkayisi Chindi Udayisi' is far below the expectations. The rigorous work in the script and screenplay is not done. There is very few comedy scenes in the film that is something less compared to Komalkumar usual comedy seen in other films in Kannada. The film suffers because of routine contents and evoking laughter from a famous comedy actor has not happened. It is so dry throughout.

Seenu (Komalkumar) with two friends getting cheated from a blade company are finding tough to gain ground in life. On the other side Kamala (Nidhi Subbaiah) from Singapore in search of her brother Pratap finds her brother is killed in Bangalore. She decides to settle down in Malaysia as a model. In this process Seenu is bowled over by the beauty of Kamala. Kamala has a childhood friend Kiran and he wants to trace her whereabouts. When Kiran comes in to contact with Seenu the deal is fixed. Seenu on an assignment to trace Kamala comes to Malaysia. He makes all attempts to win the heart of Kamala but his efforts fail. Kiran knowing nothing about Kamala from Seenu comes to Malaysia and it is a happy ending for Kiran as he joins Kamala.

What a worn out story line and cinema you would say when curtains are down.

Komalkumar doing major portion in this film tipped as hero of the film fails miserably. It is better he stays where he was - comedy roles. Kiran is not impressive but Nidhi Subbiah gathers good mileage for her Bejaanagi Premisu..song on the beach side.

Cinematography by Ashok Kashyap is average and Masth Balaji music is not up to the standards.

Worth missing this one!
