Cheena Thana 001
Amidst action-packed thrillers and romantic films, Mid Valley Entertainment has come out with a full-fledged comedy in Cheena Thana 001 that has all the elements to make it a perfect entertainer.
A remake of Malayalam hit CID Moosa, the movie features Prasanna, Sheela and Vadivelu in lead roles. Directed by T P Gajendran, Cheena Thana 001 has musical score by Deva.
According to Gajendran, `The movie will make the audience laugh and enjoy. The plot of the film revolves around the three main characters. Prasanna wants to become a top cop. Since his relative Manivannan is against it, Prasanna decides to turn a detective and impressive everyone'.
He comes across Sheela and romance blossoms. This leads to several hilarious situations. Vadivelu plays a thief, who is the friend of Prasanna. Visu, Livingstone, Ilavarasu and Delhi Ganesh are also in the cast.
Gajendran says, "A dog plays an important role in the movie".
The movie has five songs and they have been shot at different places including Kerala, Chalakudi and Nellaiyampathi.
Cinematography is by Rajarajan and the story, screenplay and direction are by T P Gajendran.
