China issue: Rahul Gandhi makes a stunning allegation against Modi

During the all-party meeting on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that nobody has intruded into India. “Neither is anyone inside India's territory nor has any of its posts been captured," Modi announced.
The Congress party has taken a strong exception to Modi's assertion, alleging that he is lying to the nation. On Saturday, taking to Twitter, Rahul Gandhi went to the extent of alleging that Modi has willingly let China take over Indian land. "The PM has surrendered Indian territory to Chinese aggression. If the land was Chinese: 1. Why were our soldiers killed? 2. Where were they killed?" RaGa asked.
Rahul's politicization of the issue is sure to keep the political tempers high over the Indo-China border skirmishes.
Those defending the PM argue that Modi was speaking in the present tense. China's PLA intruding into the Indian side is in the past. After the June 15-16 pushback by our Army, China suffered a setback. This is not being acknowledged by the Congress party, critics say.
