Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth, Kamal, Suriya go missing

As is known, in a poll of Most Desirable Men conducted by a national daily, Mr. World sensation Rohit Khandelwal pipped none other than Mahesh Babu. If that is surprising enough, the absence of the likes of Suriya, Ajith and Vijay in the list for Chennai has shocked many fans. If Simbu and Dhanush stood at the top, the likes of Anirudh, Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan and R Ashwin followed them. However, even the 'Kabali' star Rajinikanth and the ever-so-charming Kamal Haasan didn't find a place in the list, let alone among the top 10. Interestingly, Rana Daggubati is the only Tollywood star to find a place in the list, thanks to 'Baahubali' and 'Bangalore Naatkal'.

On the other hand, the Hyderabad list saw Prabhas trailing the much-happening Nani and NTR, between whom is placed Rana. 'Premam' star defeated 'Sarrainodu'. But Pawan Kalyan trailed Naga Shourya ('Jyo Achyutananda' and 'Oka Manasu' mean something), let alone Sudheer Babu (the 'Baaghi' hunk).

What is surprising is that, in a year when pre-'Khaidi No. 150' release mania was palpable, Megastar Chiranjeevi didn't find a place in the list.

Nara Rohith, who had half-a-dozen releases at least, went amiss. Surprisingly, Akhil with no release defeated Vijay Devarakonda with a blockbuster hit, 'Pelli Choopulu'. By the way, the only director to make it to the list is Trivikram, not Rajamouli. And no, Nithin is not there. The only senior hero to make it to the list is, it goes without saying, Akkineni Nagarjuna.
